Is there anything new on how to get rid of the semi transparent 1 pixel border? I have to resize multiple files at a time and them go back and delete those pixels. The bigger problem is
they show up in Indesign if the picture window is open enough and it shows.

Hi psrick
Two thoughts
1) It would probably be good for you to know how the images had semitransparency in the borders (or maybe elsewhere) as that could come back and bite you in other ways. If you are doing cropping after a selection with feathering set to something other than 0px could cause an issue.

2) Here is an approach that would get rid of any residual transparency
a) Stamp the Layer Stack to a new layer (it will still have the transparency
b) Layer > Layer Mask > From Transparency (this will move the transparency out of the pixels into the Layer Mask)
c) Delete the Layer Mask
d) Done

Hope this is helpful
