Hello and welcome to PSG.

There's really no need for the PSD, just upload the image.

Go ahead and add the original before you have worked on it, please and thank you.

Here is the picture unedited, might take a while to load

Ok, be patient, I will work on some tips for you. Give me few.

These edits can get rather complicated.

First thing we need to do is change some lighting issues. We need to remove the sky and that annoying sunset.

So you can get started on this.....

Duplicate your original and turn it off.
Create a layer mask on the duplicate.
Isolate the sky.

Ok, duplicate that layer you just made and mask out the boat. This will be your land and water layer.

Then duplicate that layer and mask out everything but the boat. This, of course, will be your boat layer.

This is all prep work before we start.

Let's replace the sky then.

Turn off all layers except the original.
We need to set up the Gradient Tool. Select your gradient tool and click on the gradient editor.

Set up color stops in the editor and correspond their colors to colors selected from where I have the arrows pointing.

Turn off the original layer and turn the others back on.
Create a new layer below your sky layer.
With your gradient tool set to linear, create a new sky (minus the pesky sunset).

How's it going charger?

Next....

Create a new layer above the the Water and Land layer.
Select your Clone stamp tool. Set it's flow to 8% and it's mode to current and below.

Remove those pesky sunset reflection waves!

EDIT:

Don't forget the ones next to the boat!

You may as well go to bed Drac! This will take awhile! This is only prep work.

I know.... but the prep work is eating into whatever's left of my remaining viewing time. No way to fast forward the video player to the juicy parts....

Nope! LOL!! Working as I go!

In fact, taking a short break for some lunch! I have to let the OP catch up and post his progress!
