What according to you is more better and easy, code using div layouts or tables layouts for designing. Please share your opinion...

Tables had a use, they are for displaying rows of data. Otherwise for general design purposes dv's are the way to go.

Tables for layout are a tool of the 90s. That's over a decade ago, in Internet time that may as well be 100 years. Do not even start wasting your time with this. If you're learning, learn it the right way.

As Steve correctly notes, tables should be used exclusively to display tabular data.

Tableless web design - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ironically though the W3 has actually taken a step back and "allows" tables for layout if you indicate correctly in the HTML. I need to dig up the link, but it caused a bit of a stir in the web design community a few weeks ago. it does not however change what's right and what's wrong. Table layouts are wrong, period.

Cheers

Div tags add much more flexibility to your site. Through the use of CSS, you can do practically anyhing with a Div. Also, Div's tend to play nicer with most browsers.
Tables are designed for organising tabular data and divs are for defining a section (division) in a document.
