Personaly, i think the design is very strong. I like your textures, looks very old, but i think if they would be a little darker, it would make it more eyecatching. And the blurry resolution makes some parts of the gates very unstraight (i personaly think, it hapening because of exposure of resolution over some time).
Overall, very interesting Composition...
