The rumor mill was spinning at full speed, but not it is reality, Canon has released a new 12.8 MP full frame camera, the 5D.
Expected price would be $3299 (US) / ?3459 (EU)

3300 $ is more than I'm willing to pay though.

It is not exactly their entry line DSLR, that would be the rebel 300 or 350... and I think that you can get them for less than $1000, with lenses...

But a full frame (24x36 sensor) camera for that price, it is great news!
