making a line of text to stay

Im making a flash intro for this site and i was wondering how to make the first line of text to appear(which i know how to do) but how to make it stay there so the other line can appear and have that one stay so the one under it can appear instead of when the second line fades in the first line dissapears????

    thanks

BAgs -- Sounds like you are ending the frames of each line when you begin another. You need to have each line on a layer, one starts after the other but they all end at the same point - after all have played. Check to see if that's your problem.

    I agree with Joy here.

This sounds like a case of you not extending the frames of each text layer bags. Once all the text layers are added and their effects created, you need to select each frame at the end of the animation and press F5 to add a blank frame. Once done, for each text layer, all text layers will remain visible for the entire length of the animation.

Do you understand what we're talking about here bags?
