i'm running the latest version of Illustrator CS5, and i'm experiencing some strange lag. for example, if i have a shape on an artboard, and i move it, there is a very short, 1-3 second delay until the shape appears where i have moved it too, even if i move it less than an inch away. this doesn't seem normal....or is it normal?

my system spec:
Mac Pro 12-Core 2.93GHz
Windows 7 64bit SP1
Adobe Illustrator CS5 (15.0.2)
240GB 6G SSD (OS/APPS)
1TB WD Black (Scratch/Cache Disk)
24GB RAM

i believe i have more than an adequete workstation to run Illustrator on. any insight with this "lag" issue would be much appreciated.
