How do I make a point with

I am doing up a business card and I am having some trouble drawing the X. Basically this X is two inverted circles.

You can see in the close up images that where they meet up in the center they don't make a point.

How do you make these two lines come together and look clean?

how did you make the original circles?
if you used the pen tool you could link them together by selecting and end point, and clicking on another near by end point

if you just took the parts from a pre-made image, then you'll have to erase the corners sticking out by any number of means, though i recommend just using a layer mask, it's the easiest to fix mistakes with
