Thanks for your feedback all. I have made her face less white but I am not sure what I can do about the artifical look of the face. I have tried a few things without success. I think overall, I have achieved what I wanted to do, but now I have a few comments to back that up.

I didn't actually use a tutorial for this. I selected wet skin from other photos and applied to my model. By using various layer blends, the colour matched up nicely. The burn tool helped a bit too!

I don't know if you can fix the face. It looks pretty artificial in the original.
The wet effect is great, though.
