I don't think the color adds anything to the photo. If anything I would lighten up the original to get rid of the dark spot at top/center.

You coloured the sky but not the sea or ground. Why is this?

I think your original image is to contrasty (is that a word) to work off

I am not sure if selective colouring really does anything for this picture

also over the rock faces you seem to have ghosting possibly where you have painted over them or something
