    Tracing Paper If Scanned = B & W Outline

    Hi,
I'd like to know, if I use tracing paper to copy an image from a photo. If I then place the outline in a scanner then print it out. Will it be printed as a black and white outline. Perhaps I need to place a sheet of white paper under the traced outline? Would one grade of pencil be better for tracing the outline?
    Thank you.

you should be fine with tracing paper, if your printer is any good. if your worried about not picking up part of image just try to make sure your lines are heavy
