    Distort-->Spherize filterr

    Hey guys,
    So basically i want to change the orientation of the spherize filter after i applied the filter. You know like if i want the effect to be aimed more in one direction other than just centered. Anyway to do that?

    Can't really say I understood you about right.

    But you can use warp tool to distort the image after Spherize effect.

    Or even better try to use Liquify filter. First create the channel defining the "map" for your effect: white areas will get more distortion, darker ones will be less distorted. Then apply the Liquify filter with the mask from this channel. Paint with the Bloat tool. Turn on the mesh option to use as a feedback for your distortion.

    If all above isn't actually what you had in mind, provide more details or some illustration what you really mean

    Alright almost there but not exactly what i was looking for. i made some illustrations to help explain. Ok so picture mike1 i used spherize default. That is how that looks. So i saw this shortcut being done in a tutorial (but not only did the guy not explain how he did it you can't contact him either) what he did was go from mike1 to mike2 after he applied the spherize filter. \

    notice in to the orientation is a little bit to one side. I am trying to do something like that on a bigger scale. but what i want to do is be able to change the orientation after i applied the filter or be able to modify it while i am applying the filter

    Sorry, man. But those mike1 and mike2 are the same links, the same pictures
    Still can't see your "orientation" and it's still not clear what is "little bit to one side". Looks like typical Spherize effect to me.
