    Exclamation Changing colour!! PLease help!!

Hi, i am able to change the colour of a whole car, using hue/saturation etc...
However, i'm working on a blue golf at the moment and i'm trying to change the colour of the door....using hue/sat i can't get the best colour, still seems dim and unreal or not as bright. Whats the best way to get a decent colour change?

I've also tried colouring over with a coloued brush, but when i change the opacity, the blue colour underneath shows through, again giving a dodgy colour!!

    Please help...suggestions???

tried that, again if i put a colour overlay its just a block colour, if i reduce the opacity to allow the original light sources to show (making it look realistic) the blue original blue colour of the door shows through.

Anymore suggestions?? There must be a way!!

try changing color first then overlay, try different colors to find right blend ...just an idea

Just a guess. Aren't you happenig to work under CMYK color mode? It's just that those colors might really do look dumb sometimes

Also, check your Color Managment settings, they might degrade the appearance as well.

Also, there is a chance your monitor produces dim colors where there actually bright and vivid colors should be

In my experience using hue/sat I had to rather attenuate the settings to avoid plastic and get more natural look.
