15 years experience and I have a question

I work on a 30" monitor and the palettes open up with lots of wasted space. Any way to prevent all this wasted space and waisted time having to resize the palettes smaller.

Also Is there a way to keep the tool palette on top of the other palettes-always. It should never be hidden under other palettes.

Maybe these are problems only with a large monitor.
