@paul weekly challenge, trying to find the right "victim" seems a little too hard this week.

@clare, i replied to the post and i'll have a go. As for my avatar, i keep forgetting to change it, it's been on for 2 months now :P

If you want to do something but don't know what and don't want use pen tool much, i can suggest to go throught some tutorials.
Take something like this 35 Creative Portrait Effects Photoshop Tutorials, choose one or several (with one it would make intresting album form one portret many variants) and do tutorial one after other.

When you finish that then google some more. There is always some sets of tutorial, so that would keep you occupied for about next few years

P.S. When you finish all useable (and understandable) from 35 creative portret effect make post with all result together. That would be very impresive. One by one would look just tutorial result but together that would be something.

download some kind of screen capture software and record a video tutorial Or join me in my quest on how many ways I can draw a straitht line in photoshop. seems weird I know but think about it there are literally 100s from brush tool eraser stroking a path on pen tool having a solid colour as the background and then on a new layer draw 2 large squares a different colour so there is a line inbetween them use the line tool. ANd the list goes on.

It is time for a new avatar. Yours is getting a little gray on the sides. I think you should purposefully do something with the pentool, just to force yourself to use it.

Hahaha - I'm sadistic like that. I came over from Illustrator, so I was used to the pen tool. (I actually find the Ps pen tool more limiting)
