Ok more to the photographers out there but Adobe have released Adobe lightroom 4 Beta free to the public you can download it from here. I do not know to much about it but I hear it now also supports video????

as a photographer you should like this application not so sure about ubuntu compatability or wine for that matter

nothing wrong with having a go! i managed to do the pretty much impossible with photoshop CS5 on wine, so i'm sure lightroom won't be an issue.

not played around with it yet but lightroom 3 was more ram intensive than photoshop.
