No reason. I just thought it was peculiar that you post that link and the author's name of that article is Paul Gil.
LOL no mate, sorry young sleuth the force needs to be stronger in you.
that's true Hoogle:
But simon was making it for his friend Luke and his friend is now asking for feedback. His comments are current.
But tx for noticing that. Who hasn't rambled on in some thread a spammer bumped up. C'mon you guys! You know you have![]()
Hi Chris, Thanks I appreciate the feedback and input. I want to make this the best it can be.
I am using a flash website, so everything on it is an image except for the Comic Sans text and Headers for the text blocks on there. I am going to invest some time into looking at how to create menu buttons that will have drop downs on them on the moonfruit format but right now my main interest is getting it functional, noticed and used by my students. Question Time:
What on earth is a period symbol? My English Grammer is attrocious, I know. Shame on me.
The purpose of the buttons on the left side of the page are for parents and businesses to check out my credentials. The CRB takes them to the Criminal Records Bureau to make sure I am CRB Cleared, the AMA logo takes them to the AMAUK website for them to see who it is that I answer to in the event that I am not doing what I am supposed to be, the First Aid simply states I am First Aid Trained and I am a responsible Instructor as are all my Instructors. I am looking to moving the buttons somewhere else on the home page but I am a little short on space and my organisational skills leave much to be desired.
Move what content section down and down where? and Which Background Image that we should see more of?
I put that menu at the bottom as someone suggested that I do so to prevent the whole having to scroll back to the top to get anywhere in the website thing, I thought about putting in on one line across the width but I am unsure, as I am also considering putting those buttons on the side there. Any thoughts?
Apart from that thank you very much for your feedback, I welcome all feedback and consider implementing all of it carefully before I decide what to do. Would you mind giving me an Image representation of how you would organise it? Please also have a look at the rest of the website and give me thoughts. fusionmaf.co.uk

Main navigation ALWAYS belongs at the top. You don't want people searching through your main page to find the navigation. This is a lesson in Web Design/Navigation 101 so to speak brother. Scrolling is something we can't get around. So long as it is vertical scrolling through a website, no one is going to mind. It's when websites go into horizontal scrolling that people get bothered.
I don't question the the purpose of the buttons on the left side of the page, just the placement of the buttons. They are external links and as such, they should be placed in some other area of your website. The area they are in is a location that users expect to find website navigation, not external links.
Like I said, you have a decent thing going on here, but you'd do well to take a closer look at the placement of your elements (website navigation, external links, etc). I've been working on templates for a few weeks now to go on my portfolio website. And due to the honest, and professional feedback I get from this community, I always learn something or notice something I didn't see before through the help of others. Also, I think it's awesome that you're willing to show off your work. Web Design is collaborative.
