First Time With a C4D /cry :P

I thought id give it a go using a c4d and turned out quite horrible if u ask me :P it jsut doesn't flow with the rest of the image (the c4d) Advice on how to make it look... more right:P would be awesome.

I don't think it is as bad as your making out but I find incorporating C4D's into my work difficult too so I can't exactly give you much in the way of tips. You just need to keep trying and if persistence isn't the key start looking at several other tutorials or ask about here. Good luck!
