Hello scyechilde and welcome to the forum nice work the only 2 critiques I can offer is on your 2nd image lonely man picture I do not like the alignment nothing flows text is not centered or alligned and cuts of at the bottom and the island itself is of to the left. I am going to assume you have cropped this image though so cant really jusdge to much on that.
And the 2nd critique would be the guy smoking the shadow is to low I would move it up to the feet more and fade it maybe even add some gaussian blur to soften it.

No problem here is just a simple tutorial to possibly help you with Aligning things. Sorry if you already know this but you would be surprised at how many people dont.
