Thanks guys for your replies and trying to help. I would expect nothing less from any of you. I had to carry some cad specs to one of our daughters office and she was still working. She's our Microvellum designer and uses three Lenovo Think Vision 30 inch monitors. One horizontal and two in...

I'm not trying to cause a riff here guys I'm just telling you what some of us see and think. I've enclosed a screen shot of what all the machines see in my office on all the browsers when we access the board. I cannot read the light blue letters nor the lighter color under the forum topics...

    Board Text

I'm not much of a complainer but...the text on the board is a nightmare for me to try and read because it's way to light. I have a lot of friends that won't even come here and go somewhere else because of the color of the text and I'm beginning to feel the same way. It may be the trends but...

Ok, I think maybe I have it now. Once I put the stroke on the letters I had to go to Blending Options and change the Opacity there. Another blonde hair day I suppose. Once again I thank you for your reply.

Hi Tom and thanks for your reply. I doubt it would do any good to put up an image. When I go to fx options and put the stroke in it gives me the default red stroke around the letters. When I change the fill (opacity) to 0 it removes the stroke and the letters stay black. I've tried it in cs5...

Hi Tom and thanks for your reply. My husband owns a a large architectural millwork shop and also does hand carved, routed and sandblasted signs and has clients that go back to the 50's when he was a babbling kid learning his dad's business. Hands on is what they want no cnc. Most of the time I...

I'm designing a wood sign for a company in PS and will be printing it out full size for them. I'll print it out 36 inches wide and 96 inches long. To save a lot of ink is there anyway I can change the letters from solid letters to just the outlines of the letters? Thank in advance

Re: Uploaded photoshoped sliced html website and it sometimes does not finish loading That happened to me recently and my fix may not be a fix for you though. I had a layout with maybe, don't remember, a dozen of more splices. I spliced the layout by hand and did use guides. It acted really...

    Marquee Tool

PS5 Extended, OS W7 IE9 Home Edition. My marguee tool has gotten to the point I can't hardly use it anymore. I think flaky would be a good word for it. I can't drag and drop with it because it's so flaky acting. It works just fine on my XP machine. Ay idea how I can fix this? Thanks in advance
