Photoshop does not seem to be working?

Jeff, thank you for the very detailed reply. It is greatly appreciated. I was able to follow your instructions and rolled back to the previous version of Photoshop. I am happy to say that everything seems to be working now. I kept your instructions in a Word document in case I have any...

Photoshop does not seem to be working?

Photoshop gives me the following error in a small message box: "Could not complete your request because of program error." Following this, I cannot shut PS down, or anything else. The only way to shut it down is to invoke the Task Manager <CTRL><ALT><DELETE> and shut PS down that way. I am...

Filters Nik Filters in Photoshop CC 2018

Thanks for the insight. It took me a few minutes, but I found the executable and it installed okay. It does pay to keep some things around. :) I just hope that every time a new version of PS is installed from the cloud subscription, that I don't have to reinstall my NIK/DxO software...

Filters Nik Filters in Photoshop CC 2018

Thanks. Now I just have to find the installation executable. Still curious though why they showed up in Lightroom CC Classic and not in Photoshop 2018. WesternGuy

Filters Nik Filters in Photoshop CC 2018

I am assuming that I would find these under the "Filters" item in the Main Menu, but they are not htere. They are present in Lightroom CC. I am assuming this means I have to reinstall them- correct? WesterenGuy

Conflict between Photoshop and my GeForce graphics software

In an e-mail exchange with Nvidia, they knew about the "problem" as GeForce uses ALT>Z to invoke the GeForce Experience page and suggested that I could change the Photoshop CTRL>ALT>Z to something else. I changed it to CTRL>ALT>Q and that seems to work okay - problem resolved - I hope. My...

So did they break it, or is the initial cure that you note still valid?

Conflict between Photoshop and my GeForce graphics software

I would say it is a conflict of interest and probably a GeForce issue. It may be that the only solution for now is to use the History and step back that way. I will also notify Nvidia that the GeForce Experience component is causing me some grief and see what type of response I get.

Conflict between Photoshop and my GeForce graphics software

Hi, gedstar. To try and answer your questions, I get a page that comes up on my monitor that is asking me to do something for my graphics software. This "graphics" page overlays the Photoshop page making it inaccessible. I then have to press the "X" in the upper right corner of the...

Conflict between Photoshop and my GeForce graphics software

When I try to use the CTRL>ALT>Z to perform a multiple correction, it also invokes a response from my graphics board software (GeForce), interfering with my attempt to do the multiple correction. I am not sure what to do, as sometimes I start doing something and perform the operation a few...
