Howdy y'all.

Randomly joined this forum after searching for "photoshop forum" :P

Basically study digital media and although I want to get into CGi I'm also heavily interested in photoshop touch-ups and editing- even though I dislike it but I can see the point in it...well dislike the uber air-brushed shiney glossy skin look.

So I'm looking for website competitions, tips and tricks, general advice about the industry**

I've still got to have a good look around but if anybody knows of a dedicated website or forum let me know, as long as its not against the forum rules.

My only experience so far is photoshopping myself and some "bird" that a guy posted on an other forum and asked "to make beautiful", but he didnt have her permission and that thread was quickly closed, sadly I think its one of my best examples and most natural looking (apart from dodgey make-up) as when I do me I tend to try and add a certain style to it as well. Sounds like lack of experience, but I dont think Ive got a blind eye to my own skill, I'm my hardest critique and hardly ever like the work I produce.

So...aye...hey, I can post examples of work if you so desire.





** I've not looked into this but my general consensus is that you basically work for a photographer who then instructs you on what to edit, which I dont mind as long as pay would allow me the luxaries I crave in this world *vroom vroom, beep beep*

Posting some of your work would be good if you could there is a review forum on this site add it to there, then maybe we can give you some help.
