Hello, I'm new (and with questions!)

Hey guys,

I posted over on the main board last night, but thought I should post here as well. I came across the forum while searching for photoshop tips - looks like a great resource!

I'm a photographer located in Minnesota.

Onto my newbie questions - is there something I need to do to enable private messaging? Currently if I try to open it I get an error message saying I don't have permission. (Edited to say I figured it out - I think I needed to cross the 8-post margin)

Click User Settings at the top of the screen, then tick Private Messaging on:

You should be able to post PS's now.
Several things are disabled until a few posts are made but the upgrade doesn't take effect until you log off and log back on. (I think)
