Photoshop spy
It’s no secret that photo-trickery is used to enhance the beauty of celebrities and models splashed across billboards and magazines. But to what extent should image manipulation be allowed?
Now, two scientists are proposing that glossy magazines and advertisers should publish a score alongside the images so readers will know the extent to which the image has been retouched.

Re: Photoshop spy
Nice article.
For what its worth I think people know that all pictures are airbrushed etc - what's the point in advertising the fact? That however comes from a man who couldn't care less what people in magazines look like! I have a wife a beautiful baby and they both love me which makes me content... I doubt this will ever be implemented but I'm sure the talk about this will go on and on...

Re: Photoshop spy
Cleaning the photo should almost be assumed in this day and age [as pointed out], It"s the subject being "pimped" off as something there not, almost gotta
feel for them, See them in real life without the filter and OMG!

Re: Photoshop spy
Interesting article, be kinda fun to see it in action... A true Guru, however [in theory anyway] should be able to trick the software.

Re: Photoshop spy
I hate the term airbrushed!
As though there hasn't been a load of other work that has been done.
In the same respect I hate the term Photoshoped, as though the only software that is used to manipulate images is photoshop.
These are just terms used by people who think you can just push a button, and everything is done automatically, even though it takes years of practice.
Bigots.
