As usual I do not want to bore with multiple threads so I stick everything in one topic. As photography isn't really my strongest point I am happy for every critique you give me on this.

    Anyways:

Currently I own zero cameras. I sold the F828 and the 10D is from my girlfriend. I am getting the same camera this month I hope, then I can start taking some decent pics.

Out of interest. The Canon Powershot (which I assume is an A70, not D70 as stated) is more or less the same as my A60.

I've never been able to get images as sharp as I'm told others achieve with the A60. Fine for prints, but need a lot of work for display.

I know the portrait is supposed to be soft, but wondered if you can get a sharp image from the the A70 if desired.

Nope, it's the D70, as I wrote. It's an older Canon model with about 1,6 mpix and a tilting LCD monitor. And a really strange body.

    Right....

Anyway, after more tests I've decided to send my A60 back to Canon.

Just have to save for a Digital SLR.
