    Sunburst

While out in the back garden this afternoon, my wife noticed a halo typed effect around the sun. She would have spotted over me as i was working preparing for the pool installation while she lay in her lounger drinking iced tea
It's about 26c today, yesterday was over 30c and we suffered major burn off's out in the bush land, they do burns here to control natural fire disasters, sadly this one got out of hand and caused major problems, so today we are all suffering with a cooler day and cloudy skies, the clouds are full of smoke particles caused by the fires, giving us this weird ring of light around the sun - just thought you would like to see it.

    Nice shot Paul.

And you are right, nobody should look straight to any strong light source, that's very dangerous for your eyes.

    Keep it up.

I mean, not looking at the sun, but taking some more cool shots.

Almost looks like an eye in the sky with that filter. Pretty cool!
