For all those who voted for me in the Challenge 6 and for the ones who liked my work
A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU.
I now have the privilege to host this challenge.

Challenge 7 - "Parental Love and affection"

Deadline 21st January 2013

2012 Was full of explosions, Zombies, Bio Hazards etc, it's time to be soft at heart and show our feelings towards our Children, portray our love & affection and what we feel for them.

The challenge is not restricted only to people who have kids - Well everyone has their ideas, old memories or maybe even fantasies about parenting. Let's bring those out to the Ps work space and show what we feel about kids.

I don't have any specific tutorials or example images for you guys to follow. You just have to close your eyes, take a deep breath, gather your thoughts and start putting them together in your compilation.

Best of Luck Guys, happy Photo-Shopping !!!

Nice one chitkaran. It is nice to have a change in theme.

Here's my submission to get this started.Took me longer than I thought since one element just wouldn't work even after 2 hours of messing with it. Sometimes the best thing to do is get rid of an idea and start fresh. Any comments welcome. (urp)

Well, hmmm. Maybe folks are recovering from the holidays or on vacations, but I'm surprised there are no entries other than mine so far. And my outlook is not what you really had in mind chitkaran. Though I have made another and it is a mother expecting and hoping that she is indeed pregnant this time. She obviously feels the child vibes.

First time I ever posted any of my PS , but if you have a child that rides one of these you will get the idea.
Safe Rider.jpg

Thanks to mzacha at Stock Exchange for the photo of the rider.
The angel was in public domain but I don't recall exactly where or when I got it.

Very nice. First post? Nah, you can't be serious! LOL.

I have a couple comments. The glow around the driver (halo?) seems too grey for the rest of the image. In fact, if the rider were smaller, I think it would help the overall composition. I didn't even see the angel till you mentioned it in the credit. I think a subtle outer glow would also help the rider, more size than spread actually makes it spread out softly -- don't ask me why they have those terms mixed up IMO (and don't anybody - Tom (JK) - go giving me technical reasons 'cause I could care less really!).

Oh yeah, one more thing. I would tilt the angel some to the left and down so that it appears to be looking at the "child." It seems to be staring over his head the way it is.

Thanks for the comments. Creations of this type aren't exactly my area of expertise..as demontrated :). It was fun to do though. I debated on the vignette and decided I liked it, might have looked better without.

Oh yeah, I think you should dare. Fathers have rights too, and this challenge is about relations to children and what they mean to us, etc. So please show us!

And chitkaran, we're still waiting for yours. LOL.

Nice one Tioga! And isn't that true. I remember when my nieces and nephews were toddlers, when they were kids, then teenagers. Now half of them have babies! I'm Aunty Clare for sure. And glad you joined in.

Congrats Guru Guy!

Mike, I thought you were saying chit as in ... you know, LOL.

For some reason i seem to be struggling with this one.

Maybe it's because you got abandoned in Ward 10?

Oops, handing in my commission as a mod. That was a low blow, huh.

You know I love ya Inky!
