A new Sticky "How to reset Photoshop"

It may be a good idea to post a sticky on how to reset PS when they're having software problems and erratic behavior in PS.

The first thing everyone seems to do reinstall PS which doesn't overwrite the preferences file so it doesn't fix the problem.

The reset doesn't take care of all problems of course but it should be (IMHO) a first step when your having a software issues.

You may want to include Mac instructions and suggest doing this before re-installing PS.
