Newbie Needs Help With Football Banner

I am new to photoshop but understand it a little bit. Ill show you what I am trying to do and I hope someone out there will be able to help me.

Im the commissioner of a fantasy football league and wanted to make a few graphics to post at the bottom of our website showing the league champions. I tried to make something in paint at work but it looks awful and need some help making it in photoshop.

I like the look of this banner:

but I like how this banner has the hooks at the top like it is around a pole.

Below is what I have now but I wanted to spruce it up and make it look like the first banner I posted above.

If somebody could make one and put the photoshop file on the website, I could probably adapt it and make the rest. Thank you with your help. It is very much appreciated.

I took a crack @ it myself, basically cleaned up the logos and changed the text, hope you like it

I really like both of them but especially the one with the touched up logos. How were you able to make them look so clean? Can you please send me the photoshop file or give me some pointers on how to recreate what you did. Thanks for the help from both of you.

Im not sure what you did, but I just magic wand the white around them and hit delete;
why do u need the .PSD file ?

I was hoping to have the psd file because I have other banners that I need to create (division champions, points champions) and would like to use the same template. Also, after next season, I would like to be able to update the file with the new champs.
