This is my first post on your lovely forum

I'm a newbie in photoshop, and I've been asked to color my AutoCAD floor plan using photoshop.

I followed the steps to render the CAD file from this link :
autocad to photoshop guide with pictures - architecture enlightens life
and opened it on photoshop. A blank page appeared ( grey and white boxes) , I'm not sure if this is how photoshop works, or if I did something wrong, because I can't see my floor plan.


I really need your help, guys. You're my last hope.
I only have 3 days to color everything & I don't even know where to start.


Please help!! I'm really lost!

Any tips/links/advice would be highly appriciated.
