    CS5 layer selection

I just upgraded from CS3. In CS3, I could cut out a part of an image (ie, a person from a background) and move the cut out only. Now, when I cut out a part of a layer in CS5, the selection shows a temporary box around the cut out when the object is moved. The affect of this extends to iWeb. When I dragged a cut out from CS3, it would just drop in iWeb as the cut out with no background. When I drag a cut out object from CS5, it will add a white box background in iWeb when dropped. Any ideas? Could this be a setting?

Look at the selection tool options, uncheck Show Transform Controls.

Show transform controls was not checked and would not have solved this problem. Any others?

Maybe I am not understanding, can you post a screenshot of this temporary box?

It's not in iWeb. Any other takers? Someone with Photoshop and iWeb will have to try this. Cut out a non rectangular shape and drag it from ps to iWeb. If it's cs5 it will have a background..
