    save slices for reuse

    Hello there,
    i need some help regarding slices in photoshop
    i need to save certain slices (not the content but then actual slices) and apply them to different psd files..
    is that possible in any way ?

    You should be able to delete the layers/content and still save the PSD to use as a template with the slices intact.

    If the other images you need to slice are the same pixel dimensions this would make it pretty simple and you could probably batch automate the slicing of the other images.

    I have never tried "slicing"what and why would you do that?

    When you design a web page in Photoshop, you slice it up into individual images with the slice tool. Each slice is saved as a separate file when you export it.
