2 in 1 question (i hope thats ok)
Two newbie style questions:
1. Is there a recommended way to import downloaded fonts into photoshop? I'm trying to put a special font on one of my images, but I'm sure there's an easier way to do it!
Currently, I'm writing the text out in Word, taking a screen grab, saving it as a JPEG, using magic wand/lasso combo to separate it from the white word background, and then copying it onto the image (by which I have no clue how to adjust size, other than using the Image Size dialog box, which is way too 'trail and error')
Sorry that was alot of writing!
2. Is there a recommended size or program to reduce image sizes for posting on blogs? I'm currently saving my JPEGS at a size of about 500-700KB (and then uploading them onto Blogger).
It loads up quick when I log onto the site, but I'm using really good internet at the moment, so not sure if potential site visitors would have the same benefits when visiting my site!
Thanks again for your help guys! Sorry for not posting these questions separately!

Any time your dealing with Fonts always just stick them in the windows fonts folder, all software looks to your windows folder for what fonts you have installed or avaiable on your computer..
To do this, copy and paste the fonts you want or simply move the fonts you want to the correct directory..
Step#1 Locate the fonts and either hit Ctrl+A to select them all or simply select a single font.
Step#2 Right click the selected fonts and click Copy. Or use the drag & drop method, your choice.
Step#3 Navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts and then right click and click paste or simply drag the wanted fonts into that folder.
Step#4 That should be it, any program you had open, close it and reopen it, then browse the fonts!!
The typical size for photo's for the web is VGA and in .JPG format, which is 640×480 if im not mistaken, as long as the file size it'self isn't to big then im sure you'll be fine..
Hope this helps

Hi Dezigns Unlimited,
You were right, one of the fonts I'd previously downloaded has already installed on Photoshop without me realising! Good call!
Thanks alot! You saved me wasting alot of my time.
