Rotate text in photoshop motion?
I'm using photoshop 5 and I'm trying to rotate text in "Motion", however when I rotate the text in one frame it rotates the text in all of the frames. How can I stop this so that my text can rotate between frames?

Re: Rotate text in photoshop motion?
not sure what you mean.
yes, I'm trying to make a gif. I'm currently in "motion" and I have a few layers... the one that I want to rotate is a rastorized text layer. I have my initial frame, then I duplicated it and selected the second frame. Then I selected the layer I wanted to rotate and rotate it. But when I click on the first frame, it also shows the layer rotated the same way.

Sounds like you need a separate layer for each rotation of the same letter.

Not that I'm aware of when rotating or transforming something.
You can use the Move Tool (V) to move something in multiple frames and a single layer but not rotate.
I don't do much of this but I think you need a layer for each movement / frame.

Re: Rotate text in photoshop motion?
there is a possibillity with 3d animation
you have to create with the rastorized text a 3D postcard from layer
how to get the animation is described in this tut Basic 3D animation in Photoshop CS5 - Final Cut Pro, Avid, and After Effects Training
and here is an example
