NO I am NOT an artist lol. I doubt I get good enough to sell anything but I have a lot of respect for people who have the talent and vision as some do on this board and I do appreciate the help.

dv8_fx didn't have a lot of time to try that as I had to load on a coupe of hundred music tracks and some video etc. for tonight. I don't DJ Thursdays but I keep the music up to date.

I can get THE ZOO to change a little bit but not even close to seeing the white glow out the back like you have. I will just keep messing with it and hopefully I can eventually hit the right buttons and make it work and then the hard part, remembering what I did lol

    Thanks for sending that

Well played with the colors a bit adding a couple of others to this above and came out with this, just messing around and learning. Thanks for the help. By the way, if you want to use colors to make something different would you put your colored layers down first or put down the text or whatever and then start adding and looking? I like the first one. Keep that for future use. The second is also good but will be effective on dark / black backgrounds .

Normally, I'd have the raw (black) tex with an empty background on the first layer followed by colored layers on top.

Then there are instances when you want to create a certain effect that require having a color layer under the tex layer.....

In this example, I have the zoo with white shadow set over a red layer. Setting the tex layer to overlay gets this effect....

It doesn't have to be a color layer - even an image will do....

and in combination, this is what you can get....

    I am no artist so-zoo-_forestred.jpg

and if you're still up to it, activate one of the colored layers on top of the tex layer, lower the opacity....

I hope I'm not overwhelming you... lol... I'm just pointing out that the possibilities and combination of moves can be endless.....
