Re: newbee help!
Please can you post the highest resolution of the image you can here, or maybe email it to spruce@sprucemagoo1.com and I will be more than happy to help you in what must be a very difficult time. I will also provide a .psd so you will be able to see how it was done! As I don't know what version of Photoshop you have, it is hard to give you advise like that, I just hope I can help! There is so much more that can be fixed!

Re: newbee help!
I'm happy you find it useful, i'd love to write you how i did right now but it will take a little bit because i'm not really super fluent in written english. Said so, I remade the PSD this morning trying to be tidy with layers and names (the original one was really too messy to be shown around:-D). It's a Photoshop cs5 file.
I can't post links and the file is kinda big, so if you got an email i can send it to you and you can start checking that out and in the meanwhile i will try to write that stuff down and ask if you have any question! :-)

Re: newbee help!
Maybe you could just post a jpeg of screen captures that show the steps you did Cbez. Then you would have to use very little written English. You did a nice job and it would be very good for boomtheroom to do it too. Nice of you to offer the tutorial.
For a beginner boom, you made a pretty good attempt. If you look at the background though, you can see where a lot of the white remains. I hope you'll be able to follow someone's instructions. Then for future reference, as someone here has said, "you have to learn to walk before you can run." That's Photoshop, rather com;plex, but very satisfying to learn and use. Good luck to you and welcome to PSG.
