I'm not quite sure what font that is either, but looking at it it is of the Sans-Serif type. Sans-Serif fonts are distinguishable by the small hooks on the letters. Examine the capital F on that book cover. Notice how on the top-left of the F there's an extrusion coming out? Sans-Serif fonts have this as a means to increase readability of text on the web. This font almost looks like Times New Roman, but I'm not quite sure. I don't get involved with typography as much as I should.
