    Pure White

I have a problem getting a pure white in my prints. I'm not sure if the problem is with Photoshop CS4, the Epson R2400 printer or the Apple OS X operating system. My "pure whites" have faint, scattered blotchy colored pixel shadows which I can't seem to eliminate.

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks.

Normally, at least for me, that is caused when you save the image as a low quality bitmap, or low quality jpeg, or when the printer, by default, stretches or shrinks the image before printing.
