CS3 Bridge will not run

I have used cs3 for ~1 1/2 yrs on this computer without issue then all of the sudden bridge stopped working. I have uninstalled / reinstalled complete CS3 software. When I click on the icon, it reports that bridge has stopped working and windows searches for a fix, it then says a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I use sony a700 and the raw format is not recognized by bridge as installed, but after update (10.3 I think) bridge stops working. Anyone know what / where the conflict is and how to repair it.
