Messed up gradients
Whenever I do a simple 2 color gradient it's not exactly smooth. There's weird banding that form 'steps' between values. It looks like a really low-quality .jpg or .gif. I noticed that having more contrast between the two colors helps but it's still unprofessional looking.cheap dreamweaver Blurring it doesn't help.
I got the color mode as RGB/16bit. All the settings in for the gradient tool are set right. Smooth is at 100%, the transition is positioned right along with transparency.

Re: Messed up gradients
It has to do with your computer, either the graphics card or something else i dont remember exactly.
Search on google for more ways of getting rid of it, but that link usually helps me.
edit: cant post the link to the tutorial for getting rid of it, ill send you a pm with the link

Re: Messed up gradients
Sounds like a graphics card issue. I used to have this problem with CS4 after messing with my color settings though, and I could never fix it.
With CS5 it works fine however, ever since I enabled hardware acceleration.
