    Trouble shooting with vista 64

Hey guys. I'm having a teensy, tinny problem with my computer... I have a white box on my screen that I can't get rid of. I can't click on anything behind it and it appears in screenshots, like this one. Any ideas? It's there as soon as i start the computer, (yes. I've restarted)

When did this start happening, can you trace it to an event, software update, etc.?

When does this happen, as soon as there's anything on the monitor or not until Windows actually loads?
    Did you try Safe Mode?

It wouldn't hurt to re-seat your video card and check your video cable.

yea, figured that it must be a program after u asked if it was happening after startup. and i figured since i haven't installed anything, it must have been something else. So, scanned with windows essentials and bam. it wasn't detected by quickscan because it wasn't in a normal location where viruses tend to hide.

I'm glad something I said triggered something for you.
I'm anal when it comes to scanning and watching for viruses, but today you never know.

I don't even run a virus scanner LOL!!! Haven't for years.. All they are is a false sense of security for the majority of people who use them. If i do happen to catch a virus, i just track it down manually and get rid of it. If that don't work, FORMAT!!
