my CS5 64 loosing its "extended"
Having installed both 32 and 64 bit CS5 Photoshops in windows 7. Been using the 64. Till few days ago it was normally extended and i was doing 3D work. Now it loads as standard, not extended.
But if i load the 32 bit one first, close it and run the 64 afterwards, the 64 seems to be loading as extended again, but actually the 3D features are not working fully or correctly, showered with strange bugs making it impossible to use the 3D section .....
I haven't changed anything manually to invoke this change.
Any clues ?

you should only have one CS5Extended not one 32 and one 64
all you need to do is look at info of the application and check off open in 64 bit

both photoshops are part of adobe collection pack, they are offered during installation as separate applications, allowing you to choose to install both, and this 64 bit was working fully till few days ago for few months now :(
where exactly is the application info you suggest to check ?
