video tutorials seem out of date for CS5

    Hello

Ive been following a few tutorials online and noticed using CS5 some of the actions dont seem to work or might have changed.

For example when it asks me to bring up the fill tool by pressing CTRL + Backspace nothing happens.

Also when it asks me add a new adjustment layer and ill use curves as an example when editing it on the right hand side bar (is it called a pallet i cant remember) it then says press OK (there is no OK button) so what do i do to save that action so it will allow me to move on to the next....I tried moving on to the next action but when i did it said something like 'your previous adjustment will not be saved if you wish to proceed'

Some of the commands and shortcuts change from version to version.
    (R) was the blur, sharpen and smudge, now it's rotate.

You can reassign the keys to what you're most comfortable.
