Dashed Stroke

Dear folks

Please see the attached graphic. I tried to make a dashed stroke by first making the rounded corner boxes and then expanded my selection for about 5 pixels. I then used the "stroke path" command. I had already created a brush (1x1") to use as my stroke.

Now the problem is that stroke around the corners is not sharp enough or you can say has crooked or distorted edges. Is there any other technique to get this done? I want this to be very fine around corners also and not like this.

This is not my area of interest, but I've seen it discussed here more than once. If you do a search on the forum, I think you'll find lots of help.
