Problem with .GIF FILE
I have 8 different layers in psd. All the same picture but different text on each image. When I try to save it as an animated gif each layer is showing through one on top of the other, so text is near impossible to read (all layers are hidden but bottom, to start process) but they all stay open in gif file, What would cause that?
any ideas?

Re: Problem with .GIF FILE
I had similar issues when I reinstalled photoshop the only way around it I could find is create your gif through the animation window frame view clicking add new frame then putting text on or editing the existing text. Rather than doing it through the normal layer panel and hiding layers per frame.

Re: Problem with .GIF FILE
try rasterising the text layers I to believe there is an issue with text layers. I am always getting issues with the position particularly.

you can close this, I'm not sure why it was hanging up. I just deleted and restarted file and now it's working. Something was out of sync, somewhere.......(lucky only 8 frames)
