| Tutorial Help Please Hello...........newbie here............found you guys while trying to find a solution to a tutorial I am having difficulty with. I am using CS3 The link is as follows Lunacore Photoshop Training - Glass Ball tutorial (part 1/2) I am stuck on Step 4. When I add the gradient.....the whole page turns gray/white not just the ball.........I have followed this exactly as written several times and still come up with the same results. I am thinking maybe there might be a step or a setting I am missing......or possibly it's me doing something wrong....I am a novice...so if you come up with any solutions please provide on simple terms Thank you in advance! Have a great day everyone Last edited by Shayebryd : 08-08-2008 at 07:45 PM. |

| You're missing a small step step here, try this instead: Make a new layer, and fill it with the gradient that the tutorial recommends. It will cover the entire image, don't worry. Once you have your gradient, right click on the layer (ctrl+click on a mac) and select "Create Clipping Mask". If that doesn't work, make sure that your ball is on it's own layer and try again. If the ball has any background on its layer, then the clipping mask won't work correctly. |
