Problem with CS (aka v 8.0) eraser 'visibility'
My co-worker is having an issue with her photoshop's eraser: the outline is not showing (the little line-circle-thing that shows the area to be erased). This happens for both the paintbrush and pencil selections of the eraser, but not for the block version (strangely?).
I tried changing the dimensions and such, in case it was too small, etc, and I had her restart photoshop to see if that fixed it - no luck.
She said that it had happened once before, but it got fixed somehow (she couldn't remember what she did/what happened to fix it, though).
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to fix it, please post it here! Otherwise, my only proper suggestion was, after trying it from a full computer reboot, reinstall photoshop. I'm no expert with photoshop myself, though, so I've possibly missed on something that could be done to fix it. Thanks for any help!

Erase tool visibility
If you want to view the erase circle...
Try turning off the caps lock.
Well, this answer just worked for me.
