Web lay out, what do you think?
Hey everyone,
I just purchased a new domain
(my first)!!!. My site is going to mostly be dedicated to the biuld up of my 65 chevy, but I also will have a fairly decent size of my site dedicated to my photoshop creations. I tryed to go simple, but not boring for my first page. I was just curious what you guys thought of the lay out?
http://www.asquarecan.com/
Yes, Yes I know nothing works yet! well the links any ways, I just wanted to get some ideas before I just into the ocean with it %}
Thanks
Keith
BTW Mark I realize this is "web related" but I didn't really have a question, so I figured it was a general comment and had to do with photoshop so I stuck it here. If it belongs else where move it for me please ;)

Hi there,
Can't wait to see your car/truck. I've owned two 66 chevy trucks, both short beds. One a fleet side and the other stepside. LOVED them!
About the web page, I'm on DSL and it loads pretty quick. If you want to avoid a horizontal scroll bar for 800x600 users, trim your header and site down to 760px wide. I've even read/watched tutorials where designers will not go beyond 700px wide. Change your monitor resolution and see what I am talking about. [excited]
If your focus is the vehicle restoration...then maybe something on the site related to it. The city doesn't tell me much about the site. Unless that is Detroit and I would have to make the mental leap to make the conection(Motor City) lol.
Looks good for the first round.

Looks good to me but I agree with Hatch, a little more about what the site if for on the front page would be helpful

Thanks for the advice guys,
I just wanted to make it something generic so I was open to change/add the purpuse of the site. I think I am going to make the site more truck related once you click on the "truck" link. Not %100 sure.
Here is my truck now...

The pic was takin' a few months back, so NO I do not still have the lights on my house :P (come one commented earlier.
I am NO where close to being done with it, but since this isn't a truck site I wont talk a lot about it.
