Nudge It Around
As long as you have the Move tool selected, you can adjust your current layer using the arrow keys on your keyboard. For every press, it moves one pixel. If you hold the Shift key while pressing an arrow, it moves it 10 pixels.

Yeah this comes in handy too for me. When the move tool is active, you can also move guides around.
