All about Chrome

Hey here is a chrome effect action I made for text hope yall like it;)OK there keeper sorry for the lack of information everyone hehe

I am gonna add a style to this too, it adds a pretty good chrome effect :}the first image shows the effects of the chrome action file....the second shows the effect of the chrome styles file .





Note: effects and styles were created in photoshop 7.0....tweeak these settings to you taste !

Hey thanks for sharing this with folks Liberty.

Just so this thread is more suitable for this board, can you talk just a little about your effect, and perhaps even post an example image so folks can see the result?
Oh and also, be sure to say which version of PS you made this with/for. Actions have atendancy to be "version specific". :B

ahhhh i have discovered that the forum doesnt support the .asl file extension so they are zip format

i would do it in self extracting archive for all of those without winzip but the forum doesnt support .exe either hehe

Nope, no .exe extensions. That's a program extension... don't want folks uploading files that could potentially contain virisus.

I CAN turn on .asl files though. I already have most of the files associated with PS... guess i missed that one though.

So by the time you read this, .asl will be included in the "uploadable files" list. :B

It would be better if you posted a .jpg showing the final effect.
I downloaded the .zip, and although it's nice enough, it isn't spectacular enough to make people download it to look at it. The contrast is too high for my taste, washing out a lot of the detail of both the text and the the shape I applied it to...
